Drachenburg in Hennef

We ordered two dishes here and were able to pick them up after 20 minutes. There isn't too much for vegetarians. Two dishes to choose from where the meat was simply left out. Nothing with tofu, as usual. The food was still hot when we ate it at home. Unfortunately it tasted pretty bland and was hardly seasoned. Almost € 16 for a dish is quite a lot if it doesn't taste good.

As always excellent, even during Corona: Called, pre-ordered and picked up!

We ordered food there yesterday and picked it up ourselves. This morning my husband was still raving about how nice he was received :-) The food was ready to be picked up within 20 minutes and was also more than delicious (even though my husband is not really a fan of this food culture). A super nice experience on the phone as well as on site when picking up, great food and as a small thank you even crab chips on top. Support this great restaurant during these difficult times and order all kinds of goodies - IT'S WORTH IT! Thanks for the smile on our face :-) If my husband has my way, we now order here every 2 days: -D

For me the best Chinese restaurant. I have been happy to eat here for years and you can order and pick up the food quickly and easily to take away. Warm treatment by the owner is mandatory here! It has never tasted even remotely bad. On the contrary. Everything is served fresh and very tasty. I like to support here !!

You can give yourself but don't have to be

The price-performance ratio is marginal. Maybe it's due to Corona. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

The telephone order was received very competently and in a friendly manner, the reference to the defective card reader was also ok, the food was ready on time, so far everything was good. The smell promised it, everything fried was soaked, the fat could still be drained, but the sweet and sour sauce was very good and the rice was delicious ..

Mega good. The food was delicious and plentiful, pretty much the best Chinese (from what you typically get in Germany) I've eaten. In addition, the employees were super friendly and nice. I will definitely eat here more often.

Never again in my life would I like to eat in any other Chinese restaurant than the Drachenburg. My wife and I spontaneously decided to eat there today after a colleague recommended the Drachenburg to her. We went there on good luck, had no reservation despite Corona, were lucky and could stay anyway. The ambience in the restaurant is very pleasant, not overloaded but still nice. The seats by the window with a view of the city center of hennef are especially great. The staff, the boss, everyone is incredibly friendly and warm, you immediately feel welcome! The food was fantastic, my wife had sweet and sour chicken with fried noodles. I had Szechuan style beef. The food was incredibly fresh. You could tell my beef was top quality, no tendons, no cartilage, no fat. The meat has melted on the tongue. In terms of price, the Drachenburg is also top. We had 2 main courses, one of them with an extra request (fried noodles instead of rice), a cola, a quarter liter of wine and then shared a hot sake. With a tip of € 8 we paid € 50. But we had an unforgettable evening.

Food was okay, but less than before. The restaurant has not changed over the years - I noticed that on the bench, which was rather clumsy. For this, the prices have been increased significantly. The soup or spring roll now costs an additional € 1.50 for lunch. If I wanted to pay by card or PayPal, it was only pointed out that card payment is only possible from € 15. I should then order a drink so that I can get over € 15?!? Sure, you can do that, but you don't have to. I just got it together in cash. I was there again after years because the restaurant is also open on Monday and I was in Hennef. I can not recommend it, because it does not withstand the comparison of other China restaurants today.

Had a good tasty food during my Apr2018 visit to Germany. Rice and vegetables curry somewhat looks like Indian style. Hope This Hôtel is Vietnamese and they received me very well. Happy looking people out there to comfort you.

We had lunch here in the Drachenburg today and were thrilled. A great atmosphere super nice service which was also very attentive. Allergens would also be addressed and taken into account. A really great place that receives a clear recommendation.

The food here is pretty good. Bit pricey but worth it as the dishes here are a cut above the usual standard for this area.

Best restaurant in Hennef

Visited Germany for totally more than 10 times. Have a business trip nearby last month, one of the hotel staff suggest us to dine there. Service & foods are excellent. The boss suggest us to try the house-made Peking duck, it tasted so wonderful. It is for sure one of the best restaurant near the cologne area.
